I blogged last week about why political reform is difficult and unlikely; but that is not to say it isn’t necessary.
The stalling on NI’s Welfare Reform Bill is a good example. Presumably, the DUP and Sinn Fein both need things to “sell” to their constituency. In the real world of grown-up politics, however, it’ll be a true sales job and little of real value that isn’t already available on the table.
